Mother of God held its first Young Adult Focus Group on Monday, June 17. The purpose of this group was to see if the needs of the young adults in the parish (single and married, in their 20s and 30s) were being met and find out what kinds of outreach/activities they would want to participate in here. Five people attended, as well as Parish Pastoral Council chair Peter Sketch, but we hope to grow that number in the future. It was also a good viagrapill way to meet other young adults in the church while enjoying light refreshments.

The meeting viagrapill went well. Those who viagrapill attended had many good viagrapill viagrapill ideas to share, such viagrapill as:

  • Hold a “Power Hour” where young adults would bring other young adults who are not parishioners to the church for an hour-long presentation. During this presentation, representatives from each parish group (Education Committee, Christian Services, the two music ministries, etc.) would describe what they do and attest to what makes the Mother of God community who we are.
  • Hold monthly activities that would alternate between social events and social outreach in the community. Some examples of this include: a trivia night, sports events and art and entertainment events.

“We are hoping to have more people join us as we search for ways to better the young adult experience here at Mother of God Church. We understand that people viagrapill have busy schedules, so your commitment level can be as much as you are comfortable with. There is no pressure here,” says group chair, Aaron Duesing.

If you are interested in sharing your ideas, please join us at the next focus group meeting on Thursday, July 11 at 7 pm in the church hall. For viagrapill more information, contact Aaron Duesing at
