Have you ever arrived at Mass on Sunday only to realize you forgot your envelope for the weekly offering? We understand you have a busy life, and sometimes, there’s just too much to remember. That’s why Mother of God parish will be offering you the option of online giving, starting at the end of October.

The platform we’ve selected is called FaithStreet. You can access this secure, easy-to-use tool to give anytime, anywhere via the web or a mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet. It doesn’t matter if you’ve forgotten your checkbook or go on vacation, you can still participate in the important work of supporting your parish family.

It’s simple to create an account and set up recurring gifts once or twice a month or as often as you like. You can login at any time to view your donation history or change your gift settings.

The site boasts superior security with a 256-bit encrypted SSL (HTTPS) connection. All payment processing is handled by Balanced Payments, which works with companies like GroupMe, a division of Microsoft, and Reddit, one of the largest sites on the internet.

Online giving is not only a convenient tool for you, but it will help our parish by increasing the consistency of our weekly collections and decrease the amount of money we spend on printing and mailing paper envelopes to each household.

Watch the bulletin and this website for more information about online giving in the coming weeks. We are excited to be able to offer you this choice for managing your stewardship commitment. And, as always, we are grateful for your continuing generosity and support.
