So many important events must be celebrated differently in the present environment, and that has been a real hardship for many.

This Sunday, May 10, is Mother’s Day, and I know that many of you will not be able to gather with your moms to make that day special.

Like so many other celebrations, I hope that you will postpone Mom’s special day, rather than cancel it. In an age when we are able to use so much social media, we can still reach out to them, to express our love and our appreciation for them. Be creative.

Moms, we do love you, and we do appreciate all that you have done for us when we were young and small, but later in life as well. We want to do whatever we can to make your life as wonderful as possible. Right now it is about getting you, and our dads and the rest of us, through this terrible time, and then we can celebrate you the way that you deserve.

May God bless and keep each of you. Stay safe and be happy.
