Parish Pastoral Council and the Finance Committee resumed in-person meetings last month. We are being careful to maintain social distancing and are wearing masks.

The following are some takeaways to be aware of:

  •  Your safety during the COVID-19 pandemic is our top priority. We are focused on keeping the church sanitized and marked for social distancing. You can help by wearing a mask whenever you come to church. We also appreciate any help with wiping down pews after each Mass. It only takes a few minutes if enough people volunteer. We are also limiting the amount of singing at Mass to reduce aerosol particles that can spread the COVID-19 virus.
  • We recognize that many of you are feeling disconnected from the parish during this time. We encourage you to watch the Mass on our website or on our Facebook page. Masses are streamed on weekdays at 12:05, except for Wednesday and Saturday. Sunday Masses are streamed at 9:30 am and 11:30 am. And now, you can watch Mass on our YouTube channel at (You’ll also find Fr. Comer’s RCIA for Catholics series here and music videos from the Contemporary Ensemble.)
  • All the churches in our diocese will begin using a new platform for our parish database. This is critical for maintaining accurate records of our members and for being able to communicate effectively with you. If you haven’t completed the registration form that was sent out via snail mail last month, please take the time to fill it out and mail it back to us.
  • We are working on developing a new vision and mission statement for the parish. This will be the basis for our long-term planning and will guide us in becoming the best we can be. You’ll be hearing more about this in the coming months, so stay tuned.
