Michael Schulte, the seminarian who was with us this summer, will receive the Order of Acolyte this Wednesday, Oct. 1. Part of his preparation for priesthood, this Order is especially oriented toward the Eucharist. He will be an Ordinary Minister of the Eucharist, will be able to assist the priest at the altar, and to purify the vessels after Mass.
