ACUE stands for Alliance for Catholic Urban Education. A number of years ago the Diocese of Covington created ACUE on behalf of the urban Catholic schools in Covington, Newport, Bellevue, Dayton and Taylor Mill.  These include Prince of Peace, St. Augustine, Holy Cross, St. Anthony, and Holy Trinity schools. 
    
ACUE oversees the running of these schools and is responsible for the financing of the schools. As part of this, the urban parishes are all asked to take up a special collection for the support of the ACUE schools.
