The holiday spirit was alive and well at the annual Christmas party on Sunday, Dec. 7. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal of pork roast, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, green beans, carrots, rolls and salad, followed by an array of tempting desserts.

After dinner, members of the Contemporary Ensemble, ably assisted by some up-and-coming singers, led the crowd in singing carols, followed by a visit from Santa himself. Kids of all ages then had an opportunity to share their Christmas lists with the jolly old elf, receive some special treats and pose for photos.

The Christmas trivia contest was back by popular demand. Each table formed a team and competed for fabulous prizes. The questions this year were particularly challenging but interesting, as always. So, everyone left home with full stomachs, merry hearts and more knowledge with which to dazzle and delight their friends.
