pray the divine mercy novena

The Sunday after Easter (2nd Sunday of Easter) is the Feast of Divine Mercy. Jesus Himself appeared to St. Faustina Kowalska and asked that this Sunday be consecrated to honoring Him as Divine Mercy. The Gospel for that Sunday is the institution of the Sacrament of Mercy—Confession, as Jesus says to the Apostles, “Whoever’s sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whoever’s sins you retain are retained.”

Jesus also gave St. Faustina a set of prayers for a novena of Divine Mercy that begins on Good Friday, to prepare ourselves for the celebration of the Feast of Divine Mercy. You can find the novena by going to www.divinemercy.org.

The website will give you the history of Divine Mercy devotions, of the image of Divine Mercy, and much more.
