Dpaa supports important ministries
This weekend we will begin the 2025 Diocesan Parish Annual Appeal, with the video from Bishop Iffert. It will be much shorter this time (around three minutes), and will be shown after communion, so that it does not disrupt the Mass.
The theme for this year is “Pilgrims of Hope, Missionaries of Mercy.” The first phrase is based on the theme of the Jubilee Year, and the second phrase is based on the Year of Mercy designated by Bishop Iffert.
The DPAA supports some of the most important ministries of our diocese, which are intended to express the mercy of God and to give hope to those who are suffering the most in our midst.
Commitment Sunday will take place on the weekend of April 5-6. You can bring a pledge envelope with you or fill one out when you get to church. Or, as many of you do, you can fill out the card at home and mail it to the diocese.
Please mark on the pledge card that you are from Mother of God Church.
