DPAA Kicks off soon

This year’s DPAA begins the weekend of March 14-15. The theme for this year calls us to Live as Children of Light. The DPAA provides essential funding to many of the important service ministries of the Diocese of Covington. These include Parish Kitchen, St. Bernard Food Pantry, and other food pantries, Hispanic ministry, inner city Catholic schools, and many more. You will receive information in the mail about these many projects that depend on our contributions to remain open and to do the work that is facing them.

Each year the diocese assigns a goal for each parish that we must meet, either through donations to the appeal, or from our parish funds.
  • The goal for Our Savior Parish is $5,000.
  • The goal for Mother of God Church is $70,900.

New for this year is a parish participation goal. Every household is invited to take part because every gift—no matter the size—truly matters and helps form hearts in stewardship. We especially hope to welcome a new generation of donors who have never given before, encouraging them to begin with whatever they can.

Please prayerfully consider giving to the 2026 DPAA.  Review all the materials you receive, and listen to the DPAA messages presented at Mass. Then, come to Mass on Sunday March 22, ready to make your gift. We will complete our pledge forms together.

God bless you for your generosity!
