Two weeks ago, the bishops of the United States met in Baltimore for their annual fall gathering. They discussed a number of issues at that meeting and decided to take up a nationwide special collection for the people of Gaza who have suffered so terribly in the war between Israel and Hamas. That collection is this Sunday. Please be generous.
