Next Sunday, June 1, from 10:30 to 11:30 am, Fair Trade Equal Exchange coffee, tea and chocolate will be available for sale in the undercroft.

20th Anniversary Cross the Bridge for Life

Cross the Bridge for Life will take place on Sunday, June 1, starting at Festival Park in Newport, KY. The program begins at 2 pm on the festival grounds along the riverfront by the Purple People Bridge. After a few talks, participants will walk across the bridge to demonstrate their support for life. Participants enjoy free T-shirts, great music, free face-painting for the kids and free hot dogs. It is a stunning witness to the beauty of human life! Vacation Bible School

Mother of God will host a Vacation Bible School for children in kindergarten through Grade 5 on July 28-30. Classes will be held in the undercroft and will begin at 6 pm. Freestore Foodbank Hunger Walk

Lace up your sneakers and help St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky (SVdP NKY) run laps around food insecurity!

St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky is looking for members to join our team at the Freestore Foodbank Hunger Walk & 5K Run on Monday, May 26, along Mehring Way in downtown Cincinnati, starting at 9 am. Your registration fee directly supports Freestore Foodbank and its network of partner food banks – including SVdP NKY. Adult Catholic Faith Formation Workshops

The Diocese of Covington, in partnership with the Franciscan University’s Catechetical Institute, is offering free in-person adult Catholic faith formation workshops at Thomas More University’s new Academic Activity Center, Monday, June 9, thru Thursday, June 12. There are 27 workshops from which to choose!
    
Most workshops are scheduled for two consecutive days, 1.5 hours per day. These workshops are intended for everyone entrusted with the formation of others, whether professional or volunteer.

AL-Anon holds their Wednesday noon meetings at Mother of God Church. Enter through the courtyard and go down the steps to the undercroft of the church. Al-Anon has but one purpose: to help families and friends of alcoholics and addicted ones.

Free Support Group for Parents of Addicted Loved Ones

Parents of Addicted Loved Ones (PAL) meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, from 6:30 to 8 pm, at Catholic Charities. It provides continuing education and support, at no charge, for parents with a son, daughter or spouse suffering from addiction to alcohol or drugs. No cost. Just come.

If praying with others and for others is something that interests you, the newly formed Mother of God Prayer Team invites you to join us.
   
This is a very simple way to get involved without leaving your home! Each week, Mary Ann Kelly, pastoral assistant, will email a list of prayer intentions, including the Remember in Prayer list in our bulletin, and you can pray as your life allows.
