new talk series: The life of st. peter

It has been a little while since I have done a series of talks. I will be returning to that in a few weeks, with a series on the life of St. Peter. Other than Jesus, I find Peter to be the most interesting character in the New Testament. I also find him to be the most relatable character in the New Testament. As we see him go through his conversion and changes, we can see ourselves and learn much about what God is doing in our lives.

As I have done throughout the years, we will meet in church at 10:30 am and at 6:30 pm. The topics and dates will be the following:

  • Nov. 13—The Call of St. Peter/Peter Walks on Water
  • Nov. 20—Peter’s Confession/The Keys to the Kingdom/The Rebuke.
  • Dec. 4—The Last Supper/Peter’s Denial of Jesus/Feed My Sheep.
  • Dec. 11—Role of Peter in the Early Church/The Death of Peter.

I hope that many of you will be able to attend these sessions. Come to as many as you can. There is no need to register. Just show up at Mother of God Church.

Note: The talks will also be streamed on our website: https://mother-of-god.org
