remembering luther scruggs

It's hard to say which shone brighter—his incredible voice or his smile. But one thing is for certain. The world is left wanting without Luther Scruggs in it.
Luther was a long-time member of Our Savior parish. He was a vital part of the music ministry there, and he also sang with the Northern KY Brotherhood Singers for many years. He passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 7 at the age of 68, leaving behind five children, one grandchild, nine brothers and sisters and numerous friends.
"The music ministry at Our Savior will not be the same without Luther," said Fr. Mike Comer, pastor. "His beautiful voice inspired and uplifted all who attended our liturgies."
Our Savior parish held a celebration of Luther's life on Feb. 14 that was attended by so many it had to be held in the hall next door to the church. Please remember him and his family in your prayers.
