ocia celebrates the season
This year's OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults) class has been meeting weekly since Sept. 2. With 35 people attending every Tuesday evening, it is the largest class Mother of God has ever had.
On Dec. 16, the group celebrated the Advent and Christmas season, as well as the friendships that have blossomed among them. Mike Hogan, who came into the Church in September, gave a witness talk, and then everyone enjoyed a huge potluck dinner.
The group will take two weeks off during the holidays before resuming in January.
