parish picnic was fun for all
Mother of God's annual picnic on Sunday, Aug. 9, proved to be a very enjoyable day. Although the temperature was in the 90s, a continuous breeze blew through Pioneer Park on 3L Highway, and there was lots of shade to keep everyone comfortable.
The crowd dined on crispy fried chicken, salads and appetizers and lots of tasty side dishes. That was followed by some luscious desserts to finish off the meal. Hats off to Andrea Menzer Feebeck and her team for organizing such a pleasant event for the parish.
