Since the lightning strike on Tuesday, Nov. 18, that knocked out our sound system, internet and streaming services, as well as other electronics, we have been working to get things back in order. We are now able to livestream Sunday and weekday Masses and Fr. Comer's talks. There are still some tweaks to be made, so we ask for your continued patience.

Ovation Audiovisual has tested and diagnosed the damage that was done to our sound system. They determined that it will need to be replaced in its entirety, which will happen sometime after the holidays. Meanwhile, they have installed a temporary sound system that will get us through Advent and the Christmas season.

Mother of God is a challenging place to amplify the spoken word and music in a way that sounds natural and intelligible. For this reason, we have engaged the consulting services of a nationally known acoustical architect who is familiar with our space and understands our needs. We will continue to report on our progress.
