When you walk into Mother of God Church on Sunday morning, the first person you will likely encounter is one of our ushers or greeters. These ministers of hospitality are on the frontline, carrying out an important part of our Parish Purpose Statement: To welcome the stranger with love and compassion. They set the tone for each individual's experience at Mass and could make the difference in whether that visitor returns to Mother of God or not.

In recent years, our team of ushers/greeters has dwindled, and we need more volunteers at both the 9:30 am and the 11:30 am Masses. Duties consist of greeting people as they come through the door, handing out hymnals/songsheets and/or bulletins, helping latecomers find seats, taking up the collection and keeping an eye out for anyone who needs assistance.
