Young adults move on, new group to begin

Bridget Munday has been the driving force behind Mother of God's Young Adult Group since it began.
The Young Adult Group, that has been meeting here at Mother of God for the past few years, has decided that they have “aged out.” Some of them are pushing into their 40s and have decided to disband as a Young Adult Group and form a personal small group. We thank them for their perseverance and their witness, and we wish them God’s blessings as they move forward. We especially thank Bridget Munday, who has led this group and made it so very successful.
This has been a very important part of the life of Mother of God Church, and we want it to continue. On Wednesday, June 24, at 6:30 pm, we will be sponsoring a Young Adult Cookout, as we try to begin a new Young Adult Group. We hope to reach out to those from 18 to 35 (there will be some flexibility).
If you are interested, please call Fr. Comer at 859-816-3198. You can also call Mary Ann Kelly at 859-291-2288 or stop by to see her after Mass. Mary Ann will be near the table next to the Pieta statue. She will gladly answer your questions.

The Young Adult Group has been a great source of community and fellowship, welcoming all 20-40-somethings a place to call home within Mother of God parish. Here's a look back at some of the fun they've had together over the years.
