Jesus gave the Church the command to continue His healing ministry. He gave us the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick and the Sacrament of Reconciliation as healing tools for the Church to use. He also has appointed certain people to possess healing powers and certain places to be centers of healing.
   
After Mass on Sunday, June 30, we will celebrate the Anointing of the Sick. All who seriously ill, or who are preparing for surgery, or are facing chronic illnesses and pain, and those who are dealing with depression, anxiety, addiction, and any form of mental and emotional illness should come forward to encounter the healing power of Christ.
