Last Sunday, Fr. Mike Comer announced that Deacon Brian Cox has been assigned to Mother of God Church, effective Aug. 5. Deacon Cox was ordained to the permanent diaconate in May 2019 and has been serving St. Catherine of Siena parish in Ft. Thomas. He is also an assistant to the director of the Office of Deacon and Deacon Formation.

Says Fr. Comer, "I am very happy to have Deacon Brian here, working with me and the rest of the staff. He is one of our most talented deacons and brings a great deal of experience with him. I have known Brian for more than 30 years. His wife, Jenny, works at the Curia and oversees the DPAA. She will also be a great addition to our parish."
