Get to know caroline olberding

I am Caroline Olberding, your sacristan for Masses on Sundays, holy days, and holidays. I work closely with Bereavement Committee members Carol Fausz and Martha Cannon, as well as Vic Canfield, to coordinate arrangements for funerals. I am also responsible for detail management for baptisms. You will most often see me as a server or Eucharistic minister on Sundays, and I also lector for funerals and at Mass during the week.

I hail from Detroit but have called Kentucky home for almost 40 years. I attended parochial grade and high school and earned a BA in Business, Business Education and Psychology, as well as an MA in Administration from Marygrove College in Detroit. After several years as a high school business teacher, I was hired by IBM, facilitating my relocation to the Cincinnati office where I met and married my husband, David. I completed my work career at NKU.

In my spare time, you will find me reading, studying Italian (I'm not very good, but practice makes perfect!), working on fiber arts projects or playing with our fur babies, Luke and Lily.
