christmas party was a merry old time

Those who attended the parish Christmas party after the 11:30 am Mass last Sunday enjoyed a delicious meal of pork roast, stuffing, mashed potatoes and more, served by smiling volunteers in Santa hats. Desserts were furnished by Butler's Pantry, Delmonico's and parishioners who signed up to bring homemade cookies and treats.

During and following the meal, guests tested their knowledge of Christmas trivia and competed for fabulous prizes.

The festivities were capped off by a visit from Santa, who took time from his busy schedule to listen to last-minute gift requests.

As the party wound to a close, Fr. Comer thanked everyone who helped in putting on the event. "Getting to spend time celebrating this season with you all reminds me why I feel like the luckiest priest in the diocese to be your pastor."
