This Friday the Covington Catholic community will be here at Mother of God for a special Mass, celebrating their 100th anniversary. Covington Catholic began here at Mother of God across the street at what was Mother of God School.
    
We welcome all the students, faculty and staff, and families from Covington Catholic. May God bless them with another 100 years of educating and evangelizing young men.
    
Last week we celebrated the 150th anniversary of the Notre Dame Sisters, who also began down here. Clearly, Mother of God Church has had a very significant part to play in the history of the Diocese of Covington.
