It is that time of year again—time for the Diocesan Parish Annual Appeal. As you know, the diocese gives each parish a goal that they are to reach and to send those pledges to the diocese. Anything that comes in above that goal comes back to the parish. The advantage of the Appeal is that money that comes to the parish is not taxed by the diocese. Normally, 11% of anything that comes in to Mother of God goes to the support of the diocese and the ministries that it supports.
    
Next week we will show the video from the bishop.  DPAA Commitment Sunday will be two weeks later on Sunday, March 17.
