The latest report from the diocese concerning the DPAA. For Mother of God, we have had 165 donors. Our goal for the Diocese of Covington was $58,600. So far, $116,008 has been pledged, putting us $57,408.00 over that goal. All monies that come in over goal come back to the parish for our use. And it is not taxed, as are other donations.

These funds are off budget, so if something comes up that was not planned (something always comes up), we have funds to cover that. Also, special projects can be funded by this money.
    
We are doing really well, but we have done better over the past few years. So, if you have not made a contribution to the DPAA, please do so.
