Mother of God welcomed its newest member into the Catholic Church last Sunday, April 28, at the 11:30 Mass. Wearing a white robe, Freddie Caldwell processed up the aisle and took his place among family and friends. After the homily, Fr. Mike Comer called him to the altar, where he received the sacrament of Confirmation, after which the congregation enthusiastically applauded. Later in the Mass, he received his First Holy Communion. A celebration followed in the church hall. Congratulations, Freddie! May this be the beginning of many blessings for you!
