Implementation Team Is Hard at Work

On Monday, Jan. 29, Mother of God formally began the implementation process of the parish’s new strategic plan. It was a three-hour session of examining the goals under our three priorities—sustainability, faith formation and engagement—and identifying our strengths and challenges in meeting each one.
Many members of the Envisioning Team chose to volunteer for the Implementation Team, and new recruits have been added. Each person brings valuable experience and perspective to the process, and we are making good progress with the guidance of Jessica Adams, our Catholic Leadership Institute representative.
The next meeting is Monday, Feb. 12. Please continue to pray for the team and for our parish as we work to become more effective disciples of Jesus Christ.
