Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group
In January we will begin a Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group here at Mother of God for family members and friends of persons who have ended their own lives. Group meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month at the parish office in the St. Aloysius Conference Room. The first meeting will be Wednesday, Jan, 7, from 6:30–8 pm. Lessons and Carols
Join organist/vocalist Meg Booker for an afternoon of Lessons and Carols on Saturday, Dec. 20, at 3 pm. This is the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit, soaking in the majestic sounds of the historic Koehnken & Grimm pipe organ and the gorgeous art and architecture of Mother of God Church in Covington, KY. Marriage Encounter
The next Marriage Encounter Weekend experience is March 13-15 at Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center in Cincinnati, OH. This weekend experience is for those who wish to enrich their marriage and return to that newlywed feeling.

Sacramental Prep for Children
Parents, if you have a school-aged child who is seeking First Reconciliation and/or First Communion, we would love to hear from you! You must be a registered parishioner for your child to participate. To register your child/children for the classes, please call the parish office at 859-291-2288 or email mkelly@mogcov.org. Preparation will begin in January.

AL-Anon holds their Wednesday noon meetings at Mother of God Church. Enter through the courtyard and go down the steps to the undercroft of the church. Al-Anon has but one purpose: to help families and friends of alcoholics and addicted ones.
Free Support Group for Parents of Addicted Loved Ones
Parents of Addicted Loved Ones (PAL) meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, from 6:30 to 8 pm, at Catholic Charities. It provides continuing education and support, at no charge, for parents with a son, daughter or spouse suffering from addiction to alcohol or drugs. No cost. Just come.

Parish Missionary Disciples Training Program
Parish Missionary Disciples is a training program by which Catholic believers can become missionary disciples. This training deepens one’s relationship with Jesus Christ, transforms one into a disciple, and empowers one to meaningfully, joyfully, and respectfully give witness to how Jesus Christ lives in our hearts, influences our lives, and calls us to holiness. Since 2024, 100+ parishioners representing 24 parishes in the diocese have participated.
