Get to know lisa wetterich
My name is Lisa Wetterich, and I am the wedding sacristan. I thoroughly enjoy doing the weddings, from running the rehearsals for Fr. Comer to making sure everything goes smoothly on the wedding day. I coordinate the activities before, during and after the ceremony. In addition, you will see me on Sundays and Holy Days as a server or Eucharistic minister. Behind the scenes, I coordinate the scheduling of various other parish ministries using the online MSP scheduling program.
I have been a member of Mother of God since the mid-’80s when I lived in Main Strasse Village. While there, I was on the Board of Directors for several years working on several committees, especially those involving the festivals. I miss being able to walk to church as I moved to West Chester, OH in 2005 to be closer to my full-time job.
I have worked for Long-Stanton Manufacturing Company in Hamilton, OH, for 46 years and am the Human Resource manager along with overseeing financials. I look forward to retiring in 3-4 years to spend more time with friends and family and to travel, with Alaska, Ireland, and Italy at the top of my list. I also plan to indulge my other passions: running, hiking, gardening, and camping.
