Next Sunday, March 2, after 11:30 am Mass we will celebrate our Mardi Gras party. The Wednesday of that week, March 5, is Ash Wednesday, and Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) originated as a last day of feasting and partying before the sacrifices of Lent began. Our party will actually be a Fat Sunday, rather than Tuesday.
