When Parish Pastoral Council introduced a new purpose statement for Mother of God several years ago, we wanted to emphasize the active nature of our community. It takes a lot of people willing to volunteer their time, treasure and talents to bring the Gospel to life.

On Sunday, Feb. 23, you’ll have a chance to learn more about all the ways you can be part of carrying out our purpose statement at our Ministry Fair. Come downstairs after the 9:30 and 11:30 am Masses to meet ministry leaders and determine which opportunities are the best fit for you. Grab some coffee and a donut, while you’re at it.

The benefits to you are many:

• You’ll get to know more of your fellow parishioners (who are marvelous people, by the way) and feel more “at home” when you come to church.
• You’ll hone your skills or find ways to explore new ones.

There is something for everyone—all ages and levels of ability. Dip your toe in the water or dive in—whatever suits you at this stage of your life.

We are all the Body of Christ, and we are not complete without you. Help us make Mother of God parish the most vibrant community it can be.
