Mother of God parish returned to its roots on Sunday, Sept. 29, at the annual Oktoberfest celebration. Held immediately after the 11:30 am Mass in the undercroft, the gathering featured German beer, brats, sauerkraut, German potato salad, fruit, cream puffs and eclairs, plus the Ein Stein German band (featuring the Contemporary Ensemble’s Kenny and Robin Bierschenk).

Thanks to everyone who put the event together and contributed to its success. It was great fun!
