Mother of God was blessed with a truly glorious day for our annual parish picnic on Aug. 11 at Presidents Park in Edgewood. Approximately 160 people turned out for the event, including our new deacon, Brian Cox, and his wife, Jennie, who enjoyed the opportunity to meet parishioners. Along with pans of fried chicken, there were tables laden with delicious side dishes, appetizers and desserts. No one went away hungry.

After dinner, David and LaDawn Ziser announced the winners of the 11th annual photo contest. They are:
