next talk series focuses on passion of jesus

On Thursday, Jan. 23, Fr. Comer will begin his next set of talks, which will be on the Passion Narratives. All sessions will be held at 10:30 am and 6:30 pm on Thursdays in church.
Talk Series—The Passion Narratives
All four of the Gospels tell the story of the suffering and death of Christ. The presentation in the Gospel of John is very different than that of the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke), and will be dealt with separately. Participants will then look at the agony in the garden, the arrest and trials of Jesus, the carrying of the cross, and crucifixion.
Beginning in March, Father will examine the resurrection accounts, which are found in all four of the Gospels.
