Three long-serving members of Parish Pastoral Council stepped down from their roles this month to make room for new parishioners to come on board.

We thank Dave Boyle, Lynn Molitor and Patrick Allen for their contributions and leadership. Dave and Lynn have been on Parish Council since February 2018. Dave has been a tireless advocate for our involvement with the Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky, setting up a team to serve monthly meals to shelter guests. He also was instrumental in compiling our parish directory of services and in bringing “A Matter of Balance” classes to Mother of God, which is a program designed to teach fall prevention to seniors.

Lynn acted as our liaison between the Covington Deanery and Parish Council. She kept us informed regarding the Diocesan Annual Plan and has also assisted with hospitality at many parish events.

Patrick signed on to Parish Council in June 2021 and immediately took on the task of organizing the parish picnic with his wife, Katie. He has been active with the Young Adult Group and provided lots of thoughtful input on council decisions.

Our heartfelt thanks and best wishes to Dave, Lynn and Patrick. You have made such a difference in the spiritual and cultural life of our parish.
