Each year we celebrate the Week of Prayer for Chistian Unity. The shattered Body of Christ, divided into Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox communities is a tragedy and a scandal. Jesus prayed at the Last Supper that His followers would be one, and that the world would see our unity and love for one another and be converted. This is one of the ways in which Jesus’ followers have most terribly failed Him.
