In addition to the World Day of the Sick, next Sunday, Feb. 11, is also World Marriage Day. The date chosen is the Sunday before Valentines Day. Marriage is the foundation of society. A solid marriage is the best environment for children. Solid marriages are the foundation of culture.
    
As part of World Marriage Day, we will do a renewal of marriage vows after the homily. I hope that many of you will choose to stand with your spouse and renew your marriage. If one member of the marriage cannot be here, in your heart renew your vows.
