young adult group is growing

The Young Adult Group had a great response to their call for new members at their monthly meeting Wednesday, Sept. 11, which featured a cookout. They welcomed long-time regulars, as well as lots of new folks who were checking to see what the group is all about.
"We had about 30-35 people, and roughly half had never been to a meeting before," said Bridget Kaiser-Munday. "Some are couples who are getting married, some are new to the area because of their jobs, and some are native Northern Kentuckians. People are looking for community, and I think our group fit the bill for so many who attended."
If you are a young adult (20-something to 40-something), please come to the next meeting on Oct. 9 for a fall-themed gathering (pumpkins, cider and all things autumnal) at church. For more information, contact Bridget Kaiser-Munday at bkaiser@shdhs.org.
