Alleluia—He Is Risen

Although Christmas gets more attention and celebration, Easter is the most important day of the Church year. How amazing that God chose to become one of us, being born of Mary in Bethlehem. But it is His victory over sin and death in His Resurrection that is the most significant of all events in His life. His victory is our victory. His rising from the dead is our rising from the dead. He has defeated Satan, and even though Satan still sends his assaults against us, we know that we win in the end, if we stay faithful to the end.
