Beginning to Pray

This Saturday, Oct. 5, we will present a special Day of Reflection, entitled Beginning to Pray. We are all beginners when it comes to prayer. Even if we have been actively involved in a prayer relationship with God for quite some time, we remain just beginners.
During this day we will be looking at a few specific prayer methods that I hope will be helpful to you. We will spend time with Lectio Divina (Sacred Reading), the prayer of Quiet (the Jesus Prayer, Centering Prayer), and the Liturgy of the Hours (the Breviary).
If you would like to take part, please call to register, so we know how many people to prepare for. Cost for the day will be $25. Please email Mary Ann Kelly at mkelly@mogcov.org by Wednesday, Oct. 1.
